Full Journal pdf2008-02-29 House Journal Page 2125 HB 267 The following was read the second time: HOUSE BILL NO. 267 "An Act relating to authorizing the state to join with other states entering into the Wildlife Violator Compact and authorizing the compact to supersede existing statutes by approving standards, rules, or other action under the terms of the compact; and directing the initiation of civil actions to revoke appropriate licenses in this state based on a resident licensee's violation of or failure to comply with the terms of a wildlife resource citation issued in another state that is a party to the compact." 2008-02-29 House Journal Page 2126 with the: Journal Page RES RPT CS(RES) NT 4DP 2NR 1AM 1900 FN1: ZERO(DFG) 1901 FN2: ZERO(DPS) 1901 FIN RPT CS(RES) NT 8DP 1NR 2029 FN1: ZERO(DFG) 2030 FN2: ZERO(DPS) 2030 Representative Samuels moved and asked unanimous consent that the following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original bill: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 267(RES) "An Act relating to authorizing the state to join with other states entering into the Wildlife Violator Compact; excluding commercial fishing and big game commercial hunting services from the provisions of the compact; and directing the initiation of civil actions to revoke appropriate licenses in this state based on a licensee's violation of or failure to comply with the terms of a wildlife resource citation issued in another state that is a party to the compact." There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Samuels moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 267(RES) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There was objection. CSHB 267(RES) will advance to third reading on the March 3, 2008, calendar.
